21.12.2010 »» Cristiano Ronaldo is doubtful for tomorrow's game against Levante
Cristiano Ronaldo could be ruled out of tomorrow’s Copa del Rey meeting when Real Madrid faces Levante, due to having contracted a fever which has forced him out of this morning’s training session.
The Portuguese attacker initially took part as normal with his colleagues, but was forced to withdraw, complaining of sickness, and coach Jose Mourinho will almost certainly prepare his team for the match with the former Manchester United winger left out of his squad.
Should he miss the match it will be the first game of the season that Ronaldo has taken no part in, and club doctors decided to send him home to keep him apart from the rest of the squad and avoid any disease spreading to his team-mates.
However, latest reports from portuguese newspaper "Record" says Ronaldo will be on the 16 list, so there are still hopes that he can play on this game.
José Mourinho also missed the press conference today in preparation for the match, with assistant Aitor Karanka taking his place in front of the media.
