Cristiano Ronaldo said that "work" is the basis of success for an elite professional player. The portuguese gave as example his well known free kicks: "In life, all our goals can be achieved if we work hard. If we work hard, we'll get better results. I always do my best, and for doing that, I really need to train a lot and work very hard."

Ronaldo, who was in the middle of a Catrol publicity campaign, added: "I believe that working in a club team is easier than doing it in a national team, because you can train every single day, with the same players and that way, it's easier to build better connections in gameplays. In the other hand, it's really hard to do the same in the Portuguese national team, but i don't want to throw that as an excuse for performing better in Real Madrid than in Portugal, because that depends on many other things."

What doesn't change at all for CR7 is the ambition. Always the same, always the maximum possible: "My motivation is the same as before, because what I love doing is to play football. Nothing changes in my mind when I'm playing for Real Madrid or Portugal."

Cristiano Ronaldo was also asked if he sees himself as an actor in future. After a few laughs, the portuguese player assured that "for now, my priority is football. But we'll see about that in the future. Only God knows about the future."
