The European nights are back in the Santiago Bernabéu and the Spanish giants are eager to win the Champions League trophy this season. Real Madrid humilliated Tottenham with a 4-0 win, in a game where Cristiano Ronaldo made his return, even though he's clearly not at 100%. Real Madrid set their sights on Gomes after the restart. The players were aware that it was a momentous occasion to return to the Champions League semifinals and they played very motivated, despite the loss against Sporting Gijon in the last weekend. Real Madrid still have the return leg to play in London, but barring a disaster, the "Merengues" will be playing in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, against either Shaktar or Barcelona.
