Cristiano Ronaldo is still on vacation, but he never forgets his fans as he was keen to leave a Christmas and New Year message to all the "Madridistas". The Portuguese player sent a message through Real Madrid's official website and his own Facebook page, wishing everyone a merry Christmas, as well as 2012 year with big achievements and full of success. The Merengues will return to action in the 3rd of January 2012, in a scheduled match against Malaga, for the Copa del Rey 1st leg counting for the last-16 round.
Real Madrid Christmas message 2011-2012:
This last Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo posted a photo of himself on his Facebook page, wearing a dark "Yankees" t-shirt, during his vacations in what appears to be some paradise island (probably Maldives). The Real Madrid star player added a written note, in both Portuguese and English, wishing all his fans a joyfull Christmas. Ronaldo: "I'm enjoying my holidays and I would like to wish you all a merry Christmas", posted CR7.
Similarly to last year, a few Real Madrid players also left a merry Christmas and "New Year" message to all the Madridismo, through the club's official website. Cristiano Ronaldo had an auspicious statement by promising to fight for the big titles. CR7: "I wish you all a succesful new year, a merry Christmas and I hope the club can keep performing well. May all the "Madridismo" achieve many great things in 2012."
The festive atmosphere was notorious on this Real Madrid Christmas video and several Ronaldo teammates repeated the Portuguese player wishes. First it was Callejón and Adán, then Benzema, Varane and Lass Diarra, followed by Kaká and Higuaín. They all wished a very joyfull 2012, but the list became bigger as the players kept appearing in pairs. Granero and the team captain Casillas showed up, as well as Fábio Coentrão and Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil and Khedira, Arbeloa and Raúl Albiol, Marcelo and Pepe, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso, Nuri Sahin and Altintop, and finally Kaká for a second time, alongside with Ricardo Carvalho.
Real Madrid returns to training this Thursday (29th of December), in order to start preparing the match against Malaga for the Copa del Rey, that will take place in the 3rd of January 2012. Cristiano Ronaldo will keep enjoying his last days of vacation but should also arrive to Madrid and join his teammates before the end of the current week.
