08.03.2020 » Juventus 2-0 Inter. The champions made a statement!
Italy is under a partial lockdown due to the corona-virus spread in the country and this weekend's game between Juventus and Inter Milan was one of many games played behind closed doors. The two Italian giants clashed in Turin fully aware that winning the 3 points could turn out to be vital for the title race, but it were the hosts who approached this game with a higher sense or urgency. After a goalless first half, Juventus found the back of the net thanks to a good goal from Aaron Ramsey. A few minutes later, Paulo Dybala delivered another masterpiece and made it 2-0 for the Vecchia Signora. At this point, the game was pretty much settled and for those who started looking for distractions and for the best online casinos to spin the wheel, they should check this list and choose one of the many options available out there.

Juve bossed the derby D'Italia
Juventus' recent form hasn't been great and playing Inter Milan in such a troubled time is everything but comfortable. Prior to this Sunday's game, the Bianconeri had only won 3 of their last 7 games (42.8%) and not grabbing the 3 points against the Nerazzurri would mean Lazio was going to stay on the top of the Serie A table at least until the beginning of April. Earlier today, the Italian National Olympic Committee (INOC) has ordered for all domestic sporting activity to be suspended until April 3 (at the earliest)...
As expected, Maurizzio Sarri played a very strong lineup against Inter, which doesn't necessarily mean that a couple usual starters were ordered to start on the bench, as it was the case of Pjanic and Dybala. In goal, Szczesny occupied his spot, right behind a back-four formed by Alex Sandro, Bonucci, De Ligt and Cuadrado. In midfield, Matuidi, Bentancur and Aaron Ramsey filled the gaps, leaving Douglas Costa, Gonzalo Higuaín and Cristiano Ronaldo more isolated upfront. The Portuguese completed his 1.000th appearance in professional football!
Juventus had a good start against Inter, even though neither team wanted to take risks going forward. The first 45 minutes saw both sides being very cautious with their attacking approaches and it wasn't a big surprise to see them going back to the locker roms at half-time carrying a goalless draw...
Ramsey and Dybala secured the win...
The second half began with Inter dominating possession, but with the hosts exploring the counter-attack opportunities. In the 54th minute of the game, Matuidi and Alex Sandro combined very well on the left, which allowed the Frenchman to put in a strong low cross into the heart of the box. On a first moment, the target-man appeared to be the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, but a first clearance left the ball at Aaron Ramsey's mercy and the Welshman reacted quickly, making it 1-0 to the Italian champions.
Just five minutes after the deadlock was broken, it would be time for both managers to also make their plays. While Conte replaced Barella for Eriksen, Sarri took off Douglas Costa and sent in Paulo Dybala. The two players had plenty of quality to change the game on their own and it wouldn't take long for one of them to make an impact on this clash...
In the 67th minute of the game, Aaron Ramsey and Paulo Dybala exchanged a few passes before the Argentine star entered Inter Milan's box, but once that happened it was pure brilliance from the former Palermo player. Dybala got rid of Ashley Young as if he was cutting butter and then finished his play with a splendid shot using the outside of his left boot. 2-0 for the Bianconeri and the Italian champions are back to the top of the league!
