Juventus pre-season tour continues and today it was time for the Vecchia Signora to face one of their biggest Italian rivals, Internazionale. Just like in the previous game against Tottenham, Sarri played a quite strong lineup, hoping to get his first win as a Juventus manager. Szczesny played in goal, Cancelo and De Sciglio on the sidelines, while Bonucci teamed up with 19-year old Matthijs De Ligt. In midfield, Rabiot also made his debut and played next to Matuidi and Pjanic. The attacking trio was formed by Bernardeschi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuaín, as Sarri preferred to bench Mandzukic this time around.
Overall speaking, today’s derby was an even match. Both sides created chances to score in both halves, with Inter being slightly superior in the first 45 minutes, while Juve came out stronger after the break. Curiously, that's also what happened in the game against Spurs, last Sunday.

All back to square one!
There wouldn't be more goals until the final whistle and the two teams went straight to a penalty shootout after the 1-1 scoreline in regular time. From the penalty spot, Juventus proved to be more focused and scored their first 3 attempts, one by Cancelo, then Ronaldo and lastly Emre Can. Inter on the other hand, missed 2 out of 3, as Ranocchia and Longo both missed their shots. Juventus would then miss two in a row when Rabiot and Bernardeschi failed to convert their penalties, but Inter also missed one more by Borja Valero, which allowed Demiral to score the winning goal. 4-3 in penalties for the Bianconeri!
