06.10.2018 » Udinese 0-2 Juventus. Ronaldo strikes again for an unstoppable Juve
Juventus extended their winning streak to 8 games in the Serie A and 10 games in all competitions (2 in the Champions League), after beating Udinese by 2-0 this Saturday evening. The Vecchia Signoria dominated their opponent in a traditionally difficult venue and sealed the deal still before the half-time break thanks to goals from Bentancur and of course, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward, who has recently found himself in the center of a controversy over a rape accusation, didn't seem to be affected by the news and scored his fourth the goal for Juventus since he joined the Italian club and also his fourth in the Serie A.

All Cristiano Ronaldo actions vs Udinese:
Summing it up, it was another win for Juventus and another goal for Ronaldo. The "Old Lady" won their game easily by 2-0 and unlike several previous games in the league, this time the league leaders were able to do their job fast and avoid any late surprises or upsets.
In their trip to Udinese, Massimiliano Allegri's team decided the fate of the game in the last 15 minutes of the first half and it all started on the feet of a Portuguese player. João Cancelo, clearly one of the most in-form Juve players this season so far, delivered a perfect cross to Rodrigo Bentancur in the 33th minute and the Uruguayan headed it in into the back of the net and gave the Bianconeri the much-wanted lead.
Juventus manager still wants Cancelo to improve though and pointed out a detail he should pay more attention to in the future: «Cancelo has already improved a lot since he joined us. He has always been very good from a technical perspective, but I think he still relies a bit too much on his speed. He needs to react faster in certain situations and start running at the same time as his opponents», said the 51-year old coach.
The second goal was a pure piece of art from Cristiano Ronaldo, who slotted home his fourth goal in the Serie A, following another assist from Mario Mandzukic. The 33-year old showed his unique killer instinct inside the box and using his left foot he striked the ball to the far post and out of the reach of Udinese's goalkeeper, allowing Juventus to go into half-time with a more comfortable lead. It was Ronaldo's third goal with his left foot this season...
In the second half, Juventus essentially switched a gear down and controlled the game. They would finish the game without conceding, something they've already accomplished four times this season in the Serie A. If we include their Champions League fixtures as well, the count goes up to 6 clean sheets in 10 games, which is quite remarkable...
Juve are still leading the Italian league with a 6-point advantage over second-place Napoli and 8 points above Inter Milan. With the international break coming up next, the Bianconeri will only return to action on October 20 against Genoa, 3 days before visiting Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League matchday 3.
