Irina Shayk and Cristiano Ronaldo have been dating since May 2010. Since that day, this love story has known its highs and lows, with constant storms of rumors related to break-ups, pregnancy, marriage and betrayal being fed by the press. Nonetheless, the couple has resisted to everything over these past 2 years and a half, and they continue showing public signs of tenderness and great affection between each other. This last Tuesday, the Portuguese superstar and the Russian supermodel attended a "Vogue magazine" party in Madrid and Irina Shayk didn't felt shy when the time came to respond to a journalist question about Ronaldo's alleged unhappiness at Real Madrid, as she immediatly stated that her boyfriend is a lot happier now than he was before...

Real Madrid may have played against Alcoyano on Tuesday (3-0 win), but somehow, Cristiano Ronaldo still found space on his busy agenda to be present at this event. The Portuguese superstar didn't attend this private party alone though, as he was accompanied by his stunning Russian girlfriend Irina Shayk, as well as a good friend of the couple, the mesmerizing Brazilian top-model Izabel Goulart. It seems safe to say that no man in the World has had better companies than Cristiano Ronaldo this Tuesday night...
The event took place at the "Fernán Núñez Palace" in Madrid and apart from the "Vogue's December Issue" launch party, the occasion has also drawn a lot of media attention due to the presence of the reputed and very popular Peruvian photographer, Mario Testino.
After posing for a few photos from the relentless paparazzi there were at the event, Irina Shayk agreed to talk and answer a few questions from the journalists. That has been the only moment in that night where either Cristiano Ronaldo or Irina Shayk have granted any statement. After a few questions related to the Russian model's work projects, a Spanish reporter asked her if Ronaldo was happier now after his alleged sadness. Irina was polite as usual and simply replied: "Thank you for worrying about him. Ronaldo is better now...".
According to what has been reported by several Spanish newspapers earlier this week, Real Madrid is on the course of intensifying their efforts on the "Ronaldo contract renewal" dossier. One of the several possibilities on the table right now, is appearently to transfer Kaká somewhere else as soon as possible, which would allow the club not only to make some money with the Brazilian player transfer, but also lighten up the salary load at the club. This last factor would be crucial to attend Cristiano Ronaldo's intentions of being better paid at the club, one of the reasons many people still point as being the main cause for this delay and dragging on Ronaldo's contract renewal.
